Navigation gets unwieldy when, for example, you have "go grocery shopping" as your task and then all the items you are shopping for indented beneath it. I only need to see the full list when I go shopping. Prior to that, it is not desirable to see this list when I am looking at the other todos I have for the day. As it stands now, I must scroll through a 30 item grocery list before I can see my next task. Web version allows you to collapse, why not iPhone version?

Hey, I've included what you are requesting more or less in a long list of essential requests for both ios and web services.
Perhaps u will want to put your vote as well, for the benefit of us all?

After switching back to iPhone, I was very disappointed to see this hadn't been implemented yet. It really made a huge difference on the android app, and this is even more huge on iPhone. Quite simply, if this one feature were added it would make my personal organization system complete. The reason is that I could use Todoist to manage all my tasks, and then any time bound tasks should theoretically flow through the gCal feed into my iPhone calendar as all day tasks. Then I can drag them down into time slots (something my native android calendar did not support) when I plan my day. Don't even need Todoist to have its calendar module up and running to have a fully functional system. But until Todoist fixes the task grouping issue on iOS to make it work more like the android version of the app, I guess I'm stuck still looking for my optimal productivity companion...

Any ETA on this???

Thanks,
Todd

This is an awesome suggestion. Some of my tasks contain quite a few subtasks and it can get very cluttered. Being able to hide subtasks until they are pertinent makes things so much easier (and prettier).

+1 for me too. My project list in the iOS app is very unwieldy

Count me in. I've seen it on Android and felt it was well implemented. Am waiting patiently for the IOS equivalent.

And by the way - I love how this product has matured over the past 6-8 months. Well done!

This is the only thing preventing me from using the iOS App. I'm sure you guys are hard at work on implementing this and I can't wait to see it in a future (hopefully soon) update.
