Popup Notifications w/ Snooze Option

JK

This is by far the best todo app I have used and I have used them all. The only feature that is killing me not having on Android app is to have an option for notifications to popup on the screen instead of in the notification pull down. I need something in my face to remind me something is due because I am pretty desensitized to the notification pull down.

Also, having a snooze feature is probably even more important to me so it would be easy to select a snooze interval (15mins, 30mins, 1hr, etc) and then hit snooze. Programatically I would think this would be easy because it would just reset the task due time to (current time + interval selected) which would then cause it to alert again later. Maybe it is easy in theory and not so behind the scenes but either way it would be invaluable to me if it were possible.

Hi Joshua

This is already possible using Ice Cream Sandwich! You can snooze a notification and it will notify you again in 30mins.

In a version we are about to release you can also change this interval!

Amir

Do you mean Jelly Bean? I have Android 4.0.4 which is ICS and I do not have the snooze feature.

Are there any plans to bring the snooze option to a wider Android audience (e.g. ICS)?

Hello Jamie,

If such option is possible on ICS, we'll look into implementing it.

Best regards,
David

This is similar to what Any.do has currently, and would be super useful to have!!

"The only feature that is killing me not having on Android app is to have an option for notifications to popup on the screen instead of in the notification pull down." This would be really important for me, too! There should be a difference between an app trying to inform me about the latest offers about xyz and a task that I wanted to remember myself at a specific time!

I agree. I have been using Any.do for ever and have just started my first couple of days with Todoist premium and I need the popup with snooze options as well - that is one item that Any.do does better than Todoist.
