Sync not working
I am updating and editing my list on the iPad, but it is not updating to the web and iPhone editions. Therefore, I have three different versions of my Todo list - which kind of defeats the purpose of the cloud synchronization. I am new to Todoist, and have been enjoying it, but this is a real issue. I did try to manually select the sync from the Settings window on the iPad, but it just spun around forever - no change.

Please make sure that you're always logging into the same correct Todoist account on all platforms and use the same login method - either manual login everywhere or Google Login everywhere.
If you don't have a Premium account, then, in order to sync the data and other changes, you must trigger the syncing manually on the iOS app. To do so, simply open one of your task lists (on iOS) and then pull it down which will trigger the sync. Then you can refresh the page on the web to see the changes.

It is the same account; the items are mostly the same.
As you can see above, I did attempt to sync manually, from the Settings. It just "spun around forever."
When I opened this morning, it said it had completed a sync "21 hours ago," which is odd, because I had not attempted a sync at that time, but rather, 24 hours earlier.
Something is certainly odd here...
The reason why you see that there's been a sync 21 hours ago is because although automatic syncing is available for Premium users, free account will still sync automatically, but only once a day.
As for syncing, please confirm - did you try to sync the data by pulling your task list down (not through the settings)? And if so - did it also spun forever when you've tried that?
If it did, please tell me - do you have any invalid due dates for some of your tasks? If a glitch caused an invalid due date to be accepted, this can happen so if you have any complex dates, please let me know. Other than that, try to delete the iOS app and reinstall it.

I'm not sure that I knew that I only was eligible for one sync a day. Thanks for clarifying that. I am still confused why it synced "on its own" instead of when I asked it to. Is there a default time it runs the sync? Or did it update itself 24 hours from my last sync? I tried to have it sync both ways, but perhaps it was within that window.
The app will sync once a day if it wasn't synced manually, but this is just the automatic syncing. You can of course sync all your data any time manually and we're unsure why it doesn't work for you :(
It would be very helpful if you could confirm if the manual sync you've performed was made by pulling down your task list.
