Last today item doesn't always complete if checked complete

When I look at my list of today's items and try to complete the last one in the list, it just seems to hang around sometimes. It does not always happen but it happens enough. To fix it, I resync the list and it goes away. It just does not visually complete itself, but does so in code behind the scenes.
