I'm not sure if the problem is app-related, but here it is: I've installed the new app (looks great!) and added a task on my android and one on my desktop to test syncing. It didn't sync (so that I couldn't see new tasks added from browser on my phone and vice versa) and then the browser version just reported a synchronization problem ("Could not sync with todoist") and went offline. Is it app-related, account-related or that's just a general problem? Maybe there are two separate problems, so I could continue testing when the overall syncing is back to normal, and provide some details.

David, it is Google Chrome 21.0.1180.89.
I can access my todoist from browser now.
The synchronization still has some problems though. I cannot find the "pattern" and conditions, under which it doesn't sync correctly. I add some tasks from the app and they appear on desktop (everything's ok). I add one more task, I set some dates and there's no syncing. How often can I tap the sync button? Does it send the data from my app to the browser or only refreshes the task list in the app? What should I do to "refresh" the browser version? Maybe the problem is somehow time-related?
Please tell me, which actions I should perform in order to help locating the problem.
we can't reproduce this issue, I've tried to add a task with the same name through Android and it syncs without any issues.
Please go to Chrome's Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data, remove Todoist from this list and let me know if you still experience this issue.
As for your questions regarding syncing - Todoist is a cloud-based app which means your task list is stored on our servers and every channel you use to access it will get the list from the server (whether it's the browser app, the browser plugin, Outlook plugin, mobile app etc.). Also, each change made to your list will be synchronized with the server. You should tap on the sync button once which will show an animated circle (meaning - it's syncing with the server) and then you can of course tap it again.
If deleting todoist from the list as described above solves this issue, please tel us know if you experience the same problem in the future.
please tell me:
- Does reinstalling the app solve this issue?
- How many tasks do you have in each project (approximately)?
- Are you manually syncing the Android app and waiting for the sync to complete (the circling animation at the top) before reloading the web-app?
