Edit time of mobile or email reminder
I'm wondering if there is a way to edit the time that you receive a mobile (SMS) or email reminder. Currently, it is set at 30 minutes prior to the event, which is great for some types of tasks, but I also want to be reminded at an exact time for other tasks.
An enormous amount of other tasks and things can come up in 30 minutes, and so by the time I want to complete the task, I may have gotten pushed onto another project, the message may already be buried under other emails or texts, or I may have even forgotten about the task entirely. A way to edit this for what works for each unique task would be greatly appreciated because 30 minutes is very unrealistic to apply to all types of tasks.

both absolute and relative reminders can be customized. For absolute reminders you can use any due date format supported by Todoist (even set up recurring reminders) and you can change the time before a deadline for relative reminders.

It looks like Im having an additional issue with mobile reminders. I've listed my mobile number (iPhone 4S, AT&T) in the reminders tab, but am not receiving reminders and am having difficulty even getting test messages.
For AT&T it says that I dont need to have a 1 in front of the number, but that doesn't work. So, I tried putting a 1 in front and an SMS did go through. I tried to send a second SMS to ensure it was still working and a second one was never delivered. I then tried to go back to without a 1 and that still didnt work. Next, I inserted a + in front of the one and that worked, but an attempt to receive a second SMS did not work with this either. Switching back to the 1 or without a 1 before the number didn't work after this. I've tried to re-send multiple times, and none of them work after the initial two.

I am having this same problem,. I setup Preferences , and I have my important tasks to send text message. I do not even get the test text when I press that option in Preferences.

please make sure that "Elsewhere (not in the list)" is selected as your location/provider and that you include your country and area code in your number without any spaces or dashes.
For example, if your country code would be 44, try the following combinations:
If neither works, please send your full phone number to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to manually assign it to a different outgoing server.
