Why aren't projects or tasks displaying in my ToDoist for Mac widget?

I am working on a MacBook Air running Lion; my software is up to date as of this query. I have not had any issues at all with the app, just the widget.

I have tried:

-logging out and then back in to Todoist
-uninstalling and re-installing both the Mac app and the widget
-clearing the cache and cookies in my web browsers (Safari and Chome) and re-installing the app and widget.

Despite these attempts, all I get is a small, empty, rectangular window with 'Todoist' displayed in a bar at the top, an info button on the same bar which flips the window around, and a Done button below the bar which flips the widget back to the original tiny blank window.

Previously, the widget worked fine, even when I was logged into the app simultaneously.

This is very frustrating! Any suggestions would be great.

Thank you.

I am having the same problem, and it started when Anna's did. I am running OS X, not Lion. Please help!

David,

I believe this issue is regarding the widget for Dashboard, not the stand-alone OSX app.

Thanks though, will definitely check out the new version!

The problem is with the desktop widget. Not with the standalone app. I just re-downloaded the widget... same problem.

Hello,

we have fixed some bugs in the Mac Widget and it should work now (on the newest versions of the Dashboard).

Note - scrolling in this widget is not possible if you're using a mouse wheel unless you hover over the scrollbar first.

Hi David,

I just downloaded the widget again and installed it again. Exact same bug. Widget shows up completely blank on both sides. This is really frustrating...

Thanks,

Lelac.

Hello,

unfortunately, we will not support any further development of the Mac widget anymore. We're very sorry for the inconvenience.

We may consider developing other Todoist stand-alone tools and add-ons in the future, though, but this particular project has been stalled.

Best regards,
David

Hi.
I have been using Todoist for years, and it has basically changed my life. I use the web app, iPhone app and the Mac widget.
I really hope you will bring the widget back. This is the quickest, most elegant (and most discrete) way to interface with Todoist while working with a client.
