How do I cancel my account?

the first link you mentioned seems to have no such function to cancel the monthly or yearly payments (which repeat after the monthly or yearly period!).
But within Paypal I now recognized that there is an Abonnement active, which I can cancel under "Details".
Would be perhaps a good service to give more information on your page, how this works with up- and downgrading and when an Abo needs to be canceled to not pay the next period (important for yearly payments).

I would like to cancel my Premium account. I actually tried to do this last summer, but it did not seem to work. Can you please confirm whether I am still a Premium member, and whether I will be charged when my account expires in September?

Thanks Brendon. I'm not seeing anything for Todoist since something was canceled in 2011, so perhaps I paid with credit card. It's a little odd, since I tried to cancel last year and am still a Premium account -- I seem to remember going into PayPal to try and cancel.
As long as you do not find any subscription with us in PayPal no payment should be made. If you want, I can remove the Premium from your account now, but it should go inactive on September 9th 2013, but note, even if it were to continue for some reason, payment still should not be able to be made without manually doing so.

How can I cancel my free account if I signed up using my Google Account? Cancelling the account requires your current password, but my current Google password doesn't do the trick. Please help.

Thank you for listing how to cancel the premium version, and request a refund. I have emailed my request David. I like the concept, but there are a couple key funtions that don't work for me. Thank you again.

how do i cancel? your cancellation process is quite convoluted. i was charged after a trial and I don't want to use it. i just saw the charge on my account. please tell me how to get a refund before i contact my credit card company and go through their dispute process. you should make this easier on people. seriously.
We're sorry for the inconvenience, but it's not possible that you can get charged after the trial. We never ask you for your credit card information, the trial simply activates Premium for 30 days and then expires. The only possibility to get charged is going manually through the paying process.
If you wish to get your payment refunded, please send us the order reference ID. If you've used PayPal - the transaction ID and then cancel the payment subscription directly on PayPal as again, we have no option to place charges or subscriptions on our end.
If you've paid using our direct credit card payment method then you won't be charged again next year. If you've paid through PayPal or the PlayStore then you must cancel the recurring payment subscription directly on your PayPal/PlayStore account.
If you wish to receive a refund, please send us the order reference ID of your payment. We would also greatly appreciate if you would let us know which features you were missing in our app.
Finally, to delete your Todoist account, please go to Settings (top-right corner) -> Account and use the "Delete my account" link at the bottom.
