Keep items sorted
I'm using the Google Chrome extension.
Is it possible to make the task list always sort items by priority?

although it's not possible to manually sort the "7 days" view (or any other search result), you can sort your task list within a project either by using the "sort by priority" option from the gear-icon menu or pressing the "p" key.
The task list in this project will remain sorted within the project view.
Also, you can use a custom start page showing only tasks with a particular priority (or a combination of different queries). To do so, go to Preferences -> General Settings and choose "Custom query" from the drop-down menu under "Start page". Then click "Edit" and you can add any query supported by Todoist which will become your default view. For example: "p1, p2, p3, 7 days" would show separate lists for all priorities in addition to the 7 days view.

Thanks for your answer, maybe my question was badly written.
I know how to sort the list, I wish that it STAYS sorted. For example, if I change the priority of a task, it should move to its correct place.

I'd like to add my vote to the auto-sorting. I miss the functionality of my old Palm Desktop, which included being able to rank the sort fields (e.g., sort first by date then by priority). Adding this capability to Todoist would save a lot of manual sorting and associated mouse clicking.
