My "Add Task" input has disappeared
I have an input box for projects, but I have nothing that lets me add a task. Didn't there used to be a prompt that said "Add Task"? The tutorial video shows it. And I've got lots tasks entered, from when I first signed up. But now all I can do is enter a project. No tasks!

OH. Solved. I had done a search but evidently my search string was too narrow. Once I searched on "add task" I was able to find the answer.
Evidently, the only way to add a task is first to choose a project.
So, suggestion: When I click "today" or "7 days" or use any other sort of filter, make "Add Task" always available.
Another suggestion: put the "Add Task" link at the top of the list as well (or put it over on the left). IOW, it should not only always be available, it should always be on-screen.
thank you very much for your feedback, we appreciate it and will consider adding such feature in future development.
You're welcome to vote for this feature request in our Votebox:
For now, although you can only add tasks from the project view, please note that instead of the "Add task" link, you can also add tasks using the "a" key to add a task to the bottom or "A" to add a task to the top.

Thanks for the reply. WRT to your third paragraph, I saw that in the Help files. But I have to point out, it *only* works in the Project view.
Try it. If you click on Today or 7 Days, the 'a' shortcut doesn't work. sadface
I'm going to go vote.
the reason for this is the limitation of the task-adding interface which currently doesn't have an option to choose the project you would like to put the task into.
Nevertheless, we will certainly address this issue and implement such feature in future development :)

I really do appreciate that you guys listen. As a developer, I have some notion that the request isn't trivial.
Interesting that we all have the issue upside-down. It's not adding the ability to add a task, it's adding the ability to assign a task to a project. Best of luck, whichever way you go.
