Outlook plugin, Add email As Task function: whats the proper way to use?
Conceptually, I love the 'Add Email as Task' function. It would seem the best way to use it would be:
1) Review the email, and add it as a task if it can't be handled immediately.
2) Archive the email (move out of Inbox) following GTD philosophy
3) Retrieve the email by clicking the task in the Todoist bar when you can complete the action.
Problem is, Step 3 doesn't work for me. Or rather, it only works if I leave the email in the Inbox, which defeats the whole goal of getting to Inbox Zero.
Is this the expected behavior from the Outlook plugin? If so, what workflow have people found effective given this limitation?

You are correct with how it should be done, the issue is our Plugin at this time. We have had a few different problems with it, one being the link not working once you moved the email. We are currently re-written the entire plugin to fix all these issues.
For now, moving the email and then creating the task is the best solution, though I know not the proper way to do it.
We hope to have a major update as soon as possible.
