I am just a starter with the free version of todoist. So far, I like the programme. But what I am really searching for and what I am really missing is a function, to not only give a deadline to a task but also mark, on which days I want to work on it. What does a deadline in two weeks help me, if I can see only the next 7 days in the time view and have to start working on it on Monday and continue on thursday and friday? I also would love to have an additional view, where I can see, how much time I will need in my schedule and when I will work on it. Some kind of a calendar view, where tasks that need 4 hours will be much bigger than tasks, that only need 10 Minutes. So that I can really plan my schedule for the next weeks.
What I am searching for is a programme, which will have the possibility to switch between those views: the calendar view with time schedule and the list view with projects an priorities. (Without always having to export it into my calendar.)
Will that be possible in the future? I would love to have that!!!
All the best,

Thank you for your feedback. Right now, you can achieve this in two ways:
1. Set the due date of the task to "every Mon, Thu, Fri". You will see it on each of this days and completing it will push it to the next day as set. You can name the task [28 Oct] to see when it should be done for the last time and when the last instance is completed, hold the SHIFT key as you check it off and it will be completed permanently.
2. To keep track of how long your tasks will take you can either include due times for all tasks, such as "today at 12:30" or, use labels such as @4h, @2h or @2Std. @4Std. to mark tasks that you think will take more time than others. This way you can search for all tasks marked with @4h to see what you can do now if you have 4 hours time.
Also, please note that you can view more than 7 days. This is just the default link we put below the search box, you can also type in 20 days or 30 days to the search box for a better overview.
We will also consider adding a separate calendar view within Todoist in future updates.
