I seem to be having problems with recurring dates. Firstly, I can't seem to add a "ev 2 weeks starting 25. oct" type of task. Secondly, there is a task from 95 days ago (with recurring dates) that doesn't seem to want to be marked 'complete'. I use FF7 at home and IE8 at work. No success at either. Thanks.

Hello Paul,
unfortunately, "ev 2 weeks" is not a supported due date. Please use only due dates listed here:
http://todoist.com/Help/timeInsert
In this case, you can use the following formula:
ev 14 days starting 25. oct
As for the second issue, please click on the task to edit it and post the exact due date you've entered for this task.
Best regards,
David

Hi David,
The troublesome task has the following due date:
"every month starting 21 jul"
Thanks again.

As you can see, my first problem seems to be intermittent. The recurring date format worked for the task that's giving me problems now, but I can't seem to add any new tasks with this type of due date (I've also tried "ev 2 days starting..." and that didn't work either). This is especially true in IE8.

Paul,
unfortunately, "every month" is not a supported date format and that's what makes it impossible to mark this task as complete.
Please use the following format instead:
every 21
or, combined with a starting date:
every 21 starting 21. Jul 2011
Please note that if a task is supposed to start in the past, you have to attach the year otherwise Todoist will set it to the upcoming Jul 21st, 2012.
As for the other issue, please tell me - are you using a . (dot) after the day number in a date using "starting"? For example,
every 21 starting 21 Jul
may cause issues, but:
every 21 starting 21. Jul
should work fine even in IE8.
Best regards,
David
