Thunderbird 24 Compatibility
I've recently started testing the Thunderbird 24 beta in anticipation of the release later this month. One of the issues I've identified is that the Todoist extension now appears to have lost the ability to click a linked email and have it open in a new tab.
* Highlight email in TB
* Via Todoist TB extension, click New>Add email as task
* The usual formatting etc applies - the subject line of the email appears as a link as per usual.
* Click link - nothing happens. In TB 17 (the last release) clicking these links opened the email in a new tab to work with.

Please clarify - can you reproduce this issue also on Thunderbird 17.0.8? If not, and it happens only in a TB distribution marked as "beta", then unfortunately, we can't fix it. Based on past reports every issue that was reported with a beta version of TB, Firefox, Chrome or other software no longer occurred when this version became a final release and we can't support beta or dev builds of any software. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Same here: Thunderbird app stopped linking to emails at the 24 upgrade.
Hi. I'm having exactly the same problem as reported at the top of this thread, i.e. I'm using Thunderbird 24 with the Todoist extension, and I find that I can create tasks from emails, but if I click on the task after I've created it, nothing happens. Previously clicking on the task used to bring up the relevant email in a tab. Can you help? I've downloaded the latest version of the Todoist extension, but this doesn't seem to cure it.
The links seem to be working again now, which is good, but the behaviour seems a bit different. Now when one clicks on a task entered as an email, it brings up the email in a separate tab, but doesn't jump to it in the main inbox list of emails. This means effectively that one still doesn't know where the email is located in the inbox. Is this deliberate? I think previously it would make the email corresponding to the task, the one displayed in the inbox, which was a useful feature.
I'm not sure if it worked differently in the past and did not open the mail, but only selected it in the inbox. Either way, if the message is being opened correctly then you can reply to it right-away without having to search for it in your inbox.
