GTD with Outlook and Todoist: how to can I create appointments in outlook from a task
I use todoist more and more. There is one thing that I don't know how to do with from the Outlook plugin:
When I create a todo list, it's just that.
But when it's time to perform the related tasks then I like to create appointments in my outlook calandar after I prioritized what I want to do at a specific date.
This is very useful because it helps a lot by reserving time periods to work on the tasks I want to perform. Else there is always someone else to book me an appointment and things are not done GTD.
All I need is to be able to create an appointement from todoist:
. description is automatically pasted from the todo
. duration has a default - let's say 1h - and I will go to my calandar to change it if required.
I saw some people talking about outlook and appointment here, but I cannot figure out how to do it.

You can add Todoist into your calendar software with the iCal feed URL you find in Todoist.com settings. Head to Todoist.com, top right corner, click the gear icon, Settings. On that page you will find the URL to copy. You just need to simply paste this into your calendar software, variations between each one.
Unfortunately, right now this adds an all day event to your calendar and there isn't much room for customization. You can add a time to a task, but it will not be synced with the calendar, only the date. We will look to improve this in future updates such as creating our own calendar module.
You can find more information about dates and times by clicking to add a task (quick add, or within a project view) and clicking on the date box area, then "recurring dates and more".
I tried it and removed it because I takes too much place on screen. Idealy I just want to "automate" the creation of a new appointment to reserve my time for the execution of the todo, which is different than the todo deadline itself.
I can do it myself by copy/paste. But it's not so efficient.
