Usability improvement suggestion - do not show priority indicator in "completed" checkbox
I am a new (and happy) user of Todoist, and I noticed that every time I try to change the priority of a task in web UI, I end up "completing" the task. After it happened a few times I analyzed why I am doing it and realized that since the priority colors are shown in the "complete" checkbox, my first reaction is to click this square to change the color. It takes some mental effort to realize that the priority needs to be changed in a completely different place by clicking the gears icon on the other side of the screen...
I think it is a human nature to try to change a property by clicking the indicator of this property's value. I'd suggest to separate the priority indicator from the completion checkbox. For example, simply display a color circle (but not another square!) to the right of the checkbox. Or have a vertical color bar to the left of the checkbox. Then the user can change the priority directly by clicking the indicator without going into the task menu.
