Duplicate Tasks In "View All Completed"
When I look under "View All Completed" some tasks have duplicate items which were completed at the same time. I know that I didn't have two identical items and complete them at the same time though.
Can someone take a look at this? Has this been recording duplicate completions?

Please note that if you complete a recurring task, each completion will be listed separately on this list. If that's not the case, please tell me - have you been using our iOS app lately? If so, it unfortunately has a bug that duplicates tasks. We've fixed it and submitted an update to Apple and hope it gets reviewed very soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please confirm, are you or have you been using our iOS app recently? You said you completed them on the desktop, but if you are using iOS it could still have affected it.
I would also suggest doing a clear of all cache and data of your browser.
It doesn't seem to happen right away -- meaning I check off a task and it doesn't show duplicates immediately -- so it's hard to replicate. Now that I'm looking at yesterday's tasks I see a number of duplicates where there weren't last night.
Thanks for continuing to look at this with me.
We've tried to reproduce this over the past couple of days, to no avail - no task has been duplicated on the completed tasks list.
Have you tried using a different browser or is there anything that could link to this issue, for example - using the app offline or closing the browser the moment it tries to sync?
Could this have something to do with having the outlook app installed? Outlook is basically always open along with the web app pined in Firefox.
I don't use the outlook app very frequently -- since the web app does everything -- but it's useful for adding support tickets and projects directly from email.
Thoughts on this direction?
Well being a web developer myself -- I understand the frustrations of catching user submitted bugs -- so I very much appreciate your work and assistance with this.
Is there an easy way to disable the Outlook plugin without removing it completely? Maybe there is an article somewhere you could send me a link too?
So far, we haven't received any further reports about this issue and still can't reproduce this ourselves.
Unfortunately, reproducing it is at this point the only way that could lead us to the source of this issue as we can't find anything in the code that would already look like it could do this so there must be some specific circumstance under which it occurs. Without it, we could just take guesses, but the amount of combinations of actions that can be performed with Todoist makes it basically impossible to accidentally manage to trigger it.
We're very sorry for the inconvenience, but unless you'll notice the circumstance in which it occurs and can reproduce it multiple times this way, there's not much more we can do about it at this point :(
Does ToDoist have an auto-save interval? I'm wondering if it's possible that we're marking these items complete right before the auto-save and perhaps it's doing something funny there with the logic..
Just a thought. Sounds like Lee was having the same issue so it can't just be my systems.
Every change made on Todoist is stored locally and then, if you are connected, Todoist will sync this change so yes, technically there is a short interval between local storage and sync, but each change has a timestamp including fractions of seconds, the server syncs them in the correct order and will never sync any item twice. Of course there must be some other reason why this happens, but unfortunately we still weren't able to figure it out trying many different things and ways to complete tasks and close the browser or reload it at many different times to no avail :(
I can confirm - the same situation for me.
Sometimes there are even three of completed actions for one done task
It seems to be an annoying bug
I cant operate the value of my perfomance at all
for example my screeshot
We're sorry to hear that. If you know how exactly this issue can be reproduced and what triggers it (does it happen only in a certain browser, only when a certain plugin is active etc.), we would greatly appreciate if you would let us know as so far we can't reproduce it.
I can only tell that problem occures only for reapeating tasks.
I use todoist on 2 PC (both chrome) and on my cell phone - may be there is something with sync.
I can only advice for you developers to make additional checking condition for completed tasks - to make sure that there are no double savings
