Firefox Add-in vs. Firefox?
How does using the Firefox Add-In differ from simply using Todoist within a Firefox browser window?
I've had some problems with the Outlook Add-in, and so am reluctant to try the Firefox Add-in. I'm currently using ToDoist in a Firefox window.

the only difference is that while using the Firefox Add-in, you can easily add links and/or emails as tasks by using the "Add link/email" feature. All other features are exactly the same as when accessing Todoist directly through the website.
The Todoist for Firefox add-in works almost like the history or bookmark bar at the left side of the browser and is currently more reliable than the Outlook plugin.

Hmmm...I just went to try this add-in and it says that it doesn't work with the newest version of Firefox (3.6.22). Any idea when this will be addressed?

hmm the add in for firefox "Not available for Firefox 8.0 " glad i didnt upgrade to the paid version.. do i really have to go back to onlinetasklist?
The latest stable release of Firefox is 7.0.1 and I can guarantee you that it works on this version. Firefox 8 is currently in Beta phase and as any beta "release", it comes with no guarantee of proper functionality of any software.
although the Firefox 3 series (3.6 in particular) is still supported by Mozilla, given the fact that it runs on the 1.9.2 Gecko engine, it's quite out-of-date.
Still, in order to exclude any possible bugs, please tell me:
- At which point are you getting the error message?
- What does the error message say exactly?
As an instant solution to this issue, you could try to upgrade Firefox to the latest stable release which is 7.0.1.

I have to admit that I am thoroughly confused! The release notes on my version of Firefox say "v.3.6.22, released September 6th, 2011", and I don't see any way to update beyond this (i.e., it implies it's the newest version). But, if I do some quick searching on Google, I find references to many more releases, culminating in 8. What am I missing? I'm actually fairly savvy with computers, so I'm a bit perplexed.

OK, sorry for the panicky message. I did figure out how to download 7, and will try the ToDoist add-in once that's complete.
