How to move repeating tasks without destroying the original time structure?
I am a life coach and I have clients who I work with at regular times throughout the week. I set them up as repeating tasks at their regular times.
Sometimes there are scheduling conflicts and I need to move a session around. When this happens, I would like to be able move ONLY the task for this week, but for the next week (and all subsequent weeks) have it go back to the originally scheduled time.
What would be the best way to implement this behavior if it is possible? If it is not possible, I'd love to hear alternative solutions for making modifications to regularly scheduled events.
Let me know if I am unclear at all in the description of my issue.

Unfortunately, that's not possible right now, but alternatively, you could simply leave a task overdue and if you look at the "today", "7 days" or other date-based view, you would see it there as overdue.
However, if you need to reschedule it beforehand, then unfortunately, the only way is to modify the due date and then after you complete this task, change the recurrence back to its original formula.
We will consider adding a better option to do this in the future, though, and you're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/1019/
