New Windows update not working
I went ahead and updated my Windows app to the latest version and it will not longer startup. I keep getting an error screen that tells me:
Todoist for Windows has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.
> Close the program
> Debug the program
I have uninstalled the program, deleted the cache in my browser and downloaded new installers, but nothing fixes the problem.

Please try to reinstall it again, but make sure that the app is completely closed before you uninstall it, that is - check if there's a TD icon in the notifications area (system tray) and if there is, right-click on it and quit the app.
Also, please tell me - what version of Windows are you using and do you have Microsoft .NET Framework and VS Tools installed on your computer?
I actually restarted AND shut my computer down and then checked the Task Manager - TD was NOT running prior to my multiple install attempts.
I am using Windows 7 Professional.
I found Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Configuration and Wizard app's from my Start menu and I think that the Outlook version of TD just downloaded several .Net Framework updates to my machine, however I do not do anything using the Framework apps.
I have Visual Studio 2008 installed but I have never used it and have never opened it until today after clicking on the 'debug' button.
Unfortunately, we can't recreate this issue and we're able to successfully install the latest version and run it without such issues.
I've notified the developers, and if there's any more specific information that would help us identify the issue, we will let you know. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please close down the app, which you can do from the TD Tray icon, and choose "Quit". If that isn't available, then please "End Process" in the windows Task Manager.
Once that is done, please try clearing the cache for Internet Explorer, as well as making sure you have .NET Framework installed.
Then try a re-installation of the app. Then open the app, and try again.
