Bug report : Postpone date
If I hit postpone on a repeating task it will push the date out a year. If I go into the date to fix it using "starting at," it may ignore it.
I suggest the postpone feature should have an integer associated with it so I can control how far.

Good Morning David,
The tasks varied from "after 1 day starting 5/7" to "every thursday." It seems to work just fine if checked off; the date would go to the next date as incremented.
For future enhancement I would really like to have more control over the postponement. Going to the next date according to the formula is really on the verge of mind reading. How do you know that's what I want? Most of the time I'm moving something I couldn't get to last weekend to next Saturday but I only need to do this chore every 2 months. The work around is going into the date and putting a new "starting x/x" to get it where I want it. This re-dating effort is a chore in itself.
Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. Postponing both these due dates moves them to the next occurrence and not next year. Please tell me:
- What browser are you using?
- Can you reproduce this issue in a different browser (if so - which one)?
As for the postponing feature - if you have a task that's due every 3 months, but missed it and want to complete it later this week, you can simply leave it as overdue. All overdue tasks are treated "specially" in Todoist, we always include the "overdue" query within the "today" or "7 days" queries, the task count becomes red if tasks are overdue so you can leave it like this and then simply check it off when done.
The postpone feature should be used when you know that you will not "catch up" to the last instance of the task and want to postpone it to the next occurrence (not re-schedule it for a different date).

I wasn't using a browser, I was using your app.
As far as browsers, I use both MS Exploiter and Mozilla Firefox depending on where I am (Firefox is prefered)
I'm painfully aware of how past due tasks are handled. I think its obvious that I don't care for it. It makes a big mess. It would be great if if you submit my idea and not act as a gatekeeper.

Please try to uninstall the Windows app and install this version: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/0759b8fb4bef4073670fe318cb0c2b99/as/Todoist_for_Windows.RC.exe and let me know if the issue persists there as well.

Ok, I've uninstalled the old app and installed the new 126.96.36.199 app. I'll need a few days to see how it goes.
