Task due-date Bug?
I have a hard-to-explain problem, which might be a bug.
Whenever I close the todoist desktop application (which I use extensively) completely, and re-open later on (e.g., let's say that I restarted my computer), some of the tasks that I do not have a due date are automatically assigned due dates that already passed!
This happened at least 3-4 times now and seems to be pretty deterministic. Either I am doing something without realizing (what?) that assigns the past due dates, or there is a problem somewhere.
I know that the description is pretty vague, but could you maybe guide me in the right direction so that we can find the cause of the problem?

Unfortunately, we cant reproduce this issue and the only way to identify it is to know the exact steps required to trigger it.
Please tell me:
- Do you have the same time zone settings in Todoist as well as on your computer?
- How are you adding tasks? By entering a project and using the "Add task" option at the bottom or through the "Quick Add" option?
- Are you always online when you use the app?
Also, please try to install this version of the app: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/0759b8fb4bef4073670fe318cb0c2b99/as/Todoist_for_Windows.RC.exe and see if the issue persists.
I completely understand and thanks for helping.
Answers to your questions:
. Yes, I use the same time zones. In one of the issues, the task set a due date that was 13 days past, so I really doubt it is a time zone issue. I don't know whether related but I do use different keyboard layouts (Turkish layout in English time zone).
. Entering a project and hitting 'a'.
. Yes (except if my wireless network dropped temporarily for some reason that I wasn't aware at that moment).
I have installed the version you suggested. When I reopened the app, this time I did not have any tasks getting rescheduled. (Yahoo!) I will let you know if the problem happens again.
