Add tasks via Gmail not working properly
I tried to add tasks via email. I have three projects and therefore I created three email addresses in Outlook. This works fine.
When I use Gmail this isn't possible for some reason.
It seems that I can not use the format: nameproject1 <firstname.lastname@example.org>;. Of course I'm able to create three mail contacts with different names but they al have the same address then and mail isn't redirected into the correct project in Todoist, but all end up in the same project.
Do you have a solution for this?
Thanks in advance.

I already tried that with success (named the contact Todoist)! But in this way I can't direct a task into a certain project. In my case Todoist selects the first one.
The point is that in Gmail is it doesn't seem to be possible to use a pre name in front of the email address to direct it into the desirable project e.g. Testproject <email@example.com>;.
Please clarify - have you tried to use only the email address as instructed?
For example, if on Todoist you see the following:
then please do not add anything else except the email address to your contact list. This is what you should add to your contact list in GMail:
You can then choose a name in GMail for this contact, but don't put the name in front of the address or use the <> signs within the email address.
If you want to send these tasks to different projects, please create a contact for each project.
Also, there's another option to manage emails with Todoist - by linking to them instead of sending them to projects. We've described both options on or blog: http://todoist.com/blog/2013/01/zero-inbox-policy-with-todoist/
Please note that every project on Todoist has a different unique email address associated with it. Please right-click on each of your projects in Todoist and get the unique email address for that particular project and add each as a contact. You will see that the number in the email address (project.123456789, for example) is different depending on what project you get the address from.
