How can I configure Todoist to connect through wpad:8080?
I'm on my office network, and need to connect through a proxy. Is it possible to configure Todoist to do so?
I have tried with the Outlook plugin as well as the windows app.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to configure Todoist to use a proxy. Please try to configure the proxy server to allow todoist.com to connect directly or contact your system administrator to allow Todoist to connect.
We will consider adding proxy options in future updates.

This is really unfortunate. There's no way my company's firewall staff would agree to open a port for your application.
It's hard to think of any other current-day Windows application that won't work in a proxied environment. Even applications that only use http in order to check for updates can transparently navigate proxies.
Without proxy capability, your desktop app is useless in any corporate, and many academic, environments.

I find it highly prejudiced and unexpected for a company to provide an app for a professional and didn't equip it with one of the most necessary tool.
Please update this feature in the next update itself, its very necessary.
We've updated our Windows app so that it should handle proxies correctly. It always worked during our tests, but we wold greatly appreciate if you could install it and confirm if it fixed your issues: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/29465f3a4c6c7f36ed42d9a1c6b294d0/as/Todoist_for_Windows.exe

Yes, it works from within my company's firewall. I didn't even have to configure anything -- it uses the IE proxy settings quite well.
