Completed task showing up as not complete the next day
I have an issue where I'm actually completing tasks, logging in the next day, and seeing that they are not complete anymore.
The only reason that it's really annoying is that I set some of them to be daily events. If I mark that the task was finished "yesterday" (for the task I completed yesterday, but is showing up again), it will then skip today and make it due tomorrow. That doesn't help when I also needed to do that task today.

Each time you complete a recurring task that's overdue it will move its date to the next occurrence (not the current day) so an "everyday" task due "yesterday" will be moved to tomorrow. Please check it off when you complete today's occurrence of it.
As for the other issue, please tell me:
- You check off a task due "every day" that's due "today", see that it's been moved to tomorrow, but tomorrow you see that it's due "yesterday"?
- If not, please clarify what's the exact due date of the task and what happens when you check it off and if the completed status reverts back instantly.
- Are you using Todoist through the web-app or our mobile apps or plugins or third-party apps?

I understand how the first part works, I was voice-ing a minor annoyance.
Your explanation is correct. That is what is happening. It's not for everything, so I unfortunately can't give any really specific examples. My wife never runs into the issue. I wouldn't have put in a ticket except that it's been happening almost every day. I'll see that everything for my "today" has been finished, come in tomorrow, and see that 3 tasks or so were due "yesterday."

Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this issue and without even one example of the task's properties (what date, time it had and when it was completed), there's nothing else we can do at this point.
Please try to check what task or tasks are affected by this issue and post the exact due date and time of these tasks as entered in the due date field.
Also, please make sure that you're using the same time zone in Todoist as on your computer and that you're online when you use the web-app.
