Google Play purchase vs. Subscription
I purchased from Google Play because I do not use Paypal. I was under the impression that my purchase on Google Play was the monthly subscription for Todoist. I recall even seeing a notice that I would be billed monthly. Was I actually buying an app for which I *also* have to sign up for a service separately?

There is only one subscription and if you've subscribed via Google Play for the monthly payment, you have a Todoist Premium account and can access all Todoist Premium features across all 9 platforms.
That said, our apps themselves are free, but the status of your Todoist account (free or Premium) determines whether you have access to all features or only some features.
If you've paid for Todoist Premium, but don't see any changes in the app or it still tells you that some features are not available, please log out and back into your Todoist account for the changes to take effect.
Now I see what happened. I cancelled my AMEX last month. I replaced it in Google Wallet with my Visa and set the Visa as the default for all online purchases. Apparently for subscriptions, they continue on the original card and not through whatever is selected in Google Wallet. This looks like a bug in Google Wallet to me.
I'll re-purchase Todoist through Play using my Visa and report this as a bug. Thanks

Maybe I was not clear enough. I want to use google play and not paypal. I want to continue another month of subscription. So how can I do that on android?

I'm caught in a limbo state. The message I got from Google Play is that I'm subscribed through May 8. Because I've purchased already, the button shows "Install" not purchased. According to your site, I am not Premium so I can't add/edit new items. Trying to solve this through their online support has not worked. This is frustrating.

According to our database, you have an active Todoist Premium account until April 8th, 2013.
Please make sure that you're logging into the same account on the web as on Android. If you log in using your Google Account on Android, but type in a different address manually through the web - you could have two accounts, one upgraded and one not.
I never created an account under my Google account name. My primary email address is through pobox.com (a mail forwarding service). I signed into the web and mobile using the pobox.com user name. If the google play purchase requires me to log in with a google account, that wasn't pointed out or enforced. Can you manually connect them?
You don't have to connect with a Google Account, I was asking to make sure if this was the case (which could clarify the issues you've experiencing).
Again, I can confirm that you have an active Premium account until April 8th, but if you still can't access Premium features either on the web or on Android, please clear the app's cache (or browser cache, in case of the web-app), log out of your Todoist account and then log back in. You could also try to uninstall and reinstall the Android app. Let me know if this fixes the issue or if it persists.
