Completed Tasks showing No Check Boxes to undo tasks
Hi: When I go to "Get completed tasks" there are no check boxes beside the tasks that I can click to undo them. This is happening with all the browsers I use (Chrome, Safari and IE). Is this a feature now only available for Premium users? I believe it use to work for both types of users. Let me know if this is an added feature or if there's a known issue, etc. Thanks for your help and for providing a great service!

This is not a Premium feature and should work correctly (I can't reproduce it now).
Please tell me:
- Are all tasks on your list not-intended tasks (parent tasks) or also sub-tasks (or both, in which case only the parent task can be un-checked)?
- Have you tried to click "Get completed tasks" multiple times to load even older tasks?
- Does this happen in every project?
I gotcha, yeah, all of the tasks I wanted to restore were sub-tasks that I accidentally deleted below the parent task. So it's not possible to restore these without the parent?
I tried creating a new temporary root/parent task, and then checked it to complete it. I then went in to Get completed tasks and collapsed the older completed sub-tasks below the newly completed parent task, but when I unchecked the parent it did not bring the old sub-tasks with it despite them being collapsed below it. Just thought I'd try a work around.
In either case, I'll put in a Votebox request (unless I find an existing one) to allow the restoring of sub-tasks by themselves. Thanks for your prompt reply!
Please clarify - how did you complete the sub-tasks below the parent task? If you complete one sub-task, it should still stay on the list grayed and crossed out. If you hold the SHIFT key while completing a sub-task it should move to the completed tasks list, but then such task should be treated as a parent task and have it's own check box.
Can you reproduce this issue (on some newly added test task structure) and clarify what exact steps are necessary to recreate it?
Yeah, that's what I thought too (although I didn't know about the shift-check option, which I just tried and works as your described; I can restore the completed sub-task that way... although they restore back as a parent and not as a sub-task. Anyhow...). My sub-tasks got completed when I was playing with the third-party iPad app "Allegheny" which visually and touch-wise integrates nicely with your API. I checked a sub-task through that app and it somehow sent it and its sub-sub-tasks into the completed bucket. I was unable to restore them from the app, and when I returned back to the browser version I also could not uncheck them. I know you probably don't support third-party app functionality, but perhaps it's something that can be prevented when using the API?
Thank you very much for the clarification. That's true, we have no input in third-party development and this has certainly caused this issue. Please contact the developer of the Allegheny app about this problem. I will also contact our developers if this can be prevented through the API, but it's possible that it may be a bug in the Allegheny app.

Thanks again for the reply. I have written to Allegheny about this issue I encountered as well.
Thanks for the info on the iPhone app. I've previously tried an older version on my iPhone but it didn't work very smoothly, so I'll have to try the newer version and see how I like it.
I'm using a Windows Phone 8 now, so here's a shout-out to pass the vote along for a Windows Phone 8 app: https://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/558/
BTW, you should combine the Windows Phone 7/8 Votebox items into one... a total of 156 votes so far! Thanks!
