Outlook Plugin Not Working

Outlook 10. Win 7 Enterprise. IE 8.
It is not loaded at startup and the message shown in the Add-In screen is "Lot loaded... run time error at startup while loading". I have tried uninstall and install 2-3 times but did not work. I am able to go to the http://todoist.com/?mini=1 and http://todoist.com/ through IE and Firefox without any issues. Please guide.

Hi,
I am facing the same problem...
I have Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) and Microsoft Outlook Version 14.0.6112.5000 (32 bit)

I tried installing the Outlook plug-in and during the process I installed all .NET framework 4.0 components.

However, when I start Outlook, the plug-in doesn't load and I get the following error message:

Load behavior: Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in

Any hint?

Regards,
Saleem

Hi David,
After fully removing the old installation and doing a restart, I have installed the temp fix available at:

https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/3ac86bc18ae12fe2cf8c93fdbbb9bf05/as/OutlookTodoist.RC.exe

but the problem still exists and Outlook fails to load Todoist plug-in. I hope it will be fixed in the final version that is due next week!

Saleem

Hi David,

Thank you so much, I benefited from your replies to other users and I am finally having back my todoist within Outlook 10 after installing Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools (http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=35594 )

Two Thumbs Up :)
