Tasks Disappear After Seven Days
I am running Todoist on Google Chrome on Win 8 Pro. I have several projects with tasks set for daily. A number of the tasks keeps disappearing. (I am wondering if the ipad app is confusing things). Any ideas? Thanks!

Please clarify - how are your tasks disappearing? When you check them off, do they get deleted? Are they actually being removed from the task list within the project so that they can't be found anywhere?
Could you please post a detailed example of one such task and the circumstances in which it disappears, for instance:
- task has a due date "ev day at 1pm"
- it's a sub-task with indent level 2
- task is being checked off from within a project
- task gets moved to the "Get completed tasks" list instead of receiving a new date.

So for example: I have a project called Languages (I am studying French). Within that project I have a task called "French". When I set it up I used the word "Daily" so it would show up on my daily reminder list. It is low priority with no specific time that it is due.
Usually, it works fine. I click the completed box on the left when done and the task shifts to the next day. But what sometimes happens is the task disappears altogether - like it has forgotten the "daily" date - and the project is empty. This has happened in a number of tasks in different projects of differing priorities. Perhaps it has to do with Win 8? FYI - I am using the free version.
Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, so far we couldn't reproduce this issue. Please tell me:
- When you click on the "Get completed tasks" list at the bottom (within the project), do you see this task there?
- Are you holding the SHIFT key while checking it off? This results in a task being instantly moved to the history regardless of its date.
- Are you always checking it off within the project or also on the "today" or "7 days" view?
Also, please try to set up this task with the due date "every day" instead of "daily" and let me know if this issue occurs.

Thanks for looking into this. To answer your questions:
-I have the free version, so it does not allow me to see completed tasks.
-Not holding the shift key.
-I tend to check stuff off in the 7 days view.
-I initially used "daily" but it changes all the tasks to "every day" automatically. I can certainly try that for future tasks.
-It seemed to work fine until I installed the ipad app and logged in. i have since deleted the ipad app. I wonder if the two (Win 8 and Ipad app) don't play nice together?
You can view completed tasks on a free account. To do so, please enter the project in which the task has been completed and click on the "Get completed tasks" link at the bottom of the list.
This issue may indeed be caused by using the iOS app which unfortunately is currently having issues with the recognition of the "daily" due date. Even though you see it change to "every day", the "daily" format is still being handled incorrectly on iOS. We're working on this issue, but for now, please try to use "everyday", "every day" or "ev day" instead.

Ah ok, I see it now. I will use "everyday" in the future. Thanks!
