Hello Junyin,

If you've typed your phone number in this format: +86123456789 (that is - with no spaces or dashes within the number) and used the "Send a test" option in the Settings -> Reminders section 3 times - once while using each of the 3 available outgoing hosts (the US and two Canadian hosts - they can be selected from the "Number to send from" drop-down menu) and it still doesn't work, please send your full phone number to david@todoist.com

We will send 3 test messages through our system and if none will arrive, we'll contact our SMS provider about this issue.

Alternatively, we recommend to use push notifications with our mobile apps - for Android or iOS.

changed the outgoing host from US to Canada, the problem go away. and suggest to optimize the outgoing options, which is not easy to find.
