Completed sub-tasks not deleting
Garden-variety sub-tasks, not repeating. I check them, they grey out (but don't show a check mark). But when I click "Delete completed tasks" they move or go away.

Hello Bill,
Sub-tasks always stay grayed out on the list unless you hold the SHIFT key while checking them off - this will move them to history right away.
Best regards,
David

Why would they not delete when deleting completed tasks?

Hello Bethel,
The "Delete Completed" feature removes all tasks that are moved to the history (to the "Get completed tasks" list at the bottom).
Many users prefer to see checked off sub-tasks until they complete the parent task (for reference), therefore we've enabled choosing whether you want to move sub-tasks to the history right away. To do so, please hold the SHIFT key while you're completing a sub-task.
Best regards,
David
