Is there a way to add a task in place?

I can only add tasks at the bottom and then I have to re-order to place them in the list in the location I'd like. It would be better to be able to add a subtask right under a parent task or a task under the cursor or selected item. Is this possible?

Hello Kalpana,

it is possible to add a task above or below another task. To do so, please hover over a task and you'll see a small gear icon on the right side, click on it and choose "Add task above" or "Add task below".

There are also multiple shortcuts which allow to add tasks above/below other tasks. For more info please go here:
