Everyday Events

This is on an Android device, and a Windows PC.

I can create an Everyday event without any problem. However, I must be doing something incorrect because it only happens on the day that it was created. Then there is no recurring. I think that I must be clearing it incorrectly - What is the correct way to clear it when it occurs?
