Is it possible to rename labels in the manage labels area and get them automatically changed on the tasks they have these labels on ?
More often than not , i misspell labels , i come to know about this after i have assigned quiet a few tasks to that label.
For eg : I intend to assign a tag "Raja" to a task , say i have already used this tag for 5 tasks. For next 2 tasks i misspelt the tag as 'raje' when i rename label raje to raja i do not see 7 tasks assigned to that , is there a particular way to do this ?

Yes, it's possible to rename existing labels and the change will be reflected in any task containing this label. To do so, click on the @ sign below the search box in the top-left corner to see all labels. Now, simply right-click on the label you want to edit and change its name.
I am not able to get it work . Here is the scenario.
Task 1 has label "someLabel"
Task2 has label "someOtherLabel"
Now i have renamed lable 'someLabel' to "someOtherLabel" , i do not see 2 tasks with "someOtherLabel" , i still see only 1 task with "someOtherLabel" the label got removed on Task1
Thanks and Regards,
Please clarify - how exactly did you rename the label? To rename a label, please query @ in the search box, to see all labels, right-click on a label and choose "Edit" to change its name, please use a name that isn't used within a different label.
Did you rename the label as described above or did you try to add a different label to a task by editing the task?
Unfortunately, using a label name that's already assigned to an existing label is not possible and both labels will not be merged. You will indeed need to correct each label you've misspelled in every task.
To avoid misspelling and accidental creation of new labels, please use the auto-complete function. The moment you type @ within a task name, a drop-down menu will show up with all existing labels. When you type the first letters of the label, only those who match will be displayed so, for example, if you would type @someo then you should only see "someOtherLabel" as the only option in the drop-down menu (if no other labels start with "someo..." and you can quickly add it simply by hitting Enter as this label will be highlighted and automatically selected if you confirm it with Enter.
Thank you , i would love the merge feature if its there. It helps not only with spelling mistakes but when cleaning up once you find you are using too many label categories.
Thanks for the auto complete , i was using it but using tab instead of enter , so i had to always type out every thing.
