Why to my due dates keep vanishing?
Ever since Todoist changed the colors for the priority features (no more green, etc), I have been having this weird issue. I will assign a due date to something, and it will be scheduled correctly. Then, every time I refresh the page, some of the due dates for the tasks will disappear. The task is still there, but the due date is gone. It is REALLY ANNOYING and I spend most of my time double-checking to make sure that all of my tasks are assigned deadlines. Please figure out the issue and fix it. I use Todoist for home and work and I need it to function properly!

Please try to log out, clear your browser's cache and offline storage data, reload the browser, log back in and let me know if the issue persists.
If it does, please tell me:
- What browser are you using?
- Can you reproduce this issue in at least one different browser, if so - which one?
I'm having this problem too. I just tested things out. My hypothesis is that when a task is added using the Chrome extension, the due dates disappear after a refresh. That is, it appears as though the due dates are set, but then they disappear.
Todoist, could you verify this? It's very annoying to have due dates disappear. And the whole point of the extension is to allow quick adding of emails as tasks. But if you can't set deadlines, that function becomes useless.
We're very sorry for the inconvenience, but we still can't reproduce this issue. We've tried to add change, edit tasks through the Chrome extension, reload, log out and in and no due dates were gone.
Please tell me:
- Are you using the latest stable version of Chrome, that is 24.0.1312.52 m?
- When you've cleared the cache, did you manually remove todoist.com from the Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data? Some offline data is not being cleared when using the automatic cache clearing option.

I'm not using the latest version of Chrome... Would that help?
I just cleared the cache by manually removing todoist.com, so we will see if that works.
Also, wanted to point out that I'm not using the Chrome extension, just the regular browser.
Thanks for your help!
PS Any chance that we can get the green (versus the blue) back?
I have been getting tasks randomly losing their due dates as well. Very inconvenient because you then forget to do them! I'm on the latest Chrome and I've just cleared my cache (but presumably the webapp should work without us having to manually clear our cache?). I don't use the todoist chrome add-on to add tasks.
I've been unable to spot a pattern of when tasks lose their due dates, which makes the issue even more pressing (because it is unpredictable).
I hope this stops happening, because it makes the app pretty much unusable, because I can't trust it to manage my to-do list!

I work for a school district, so I have to have IT install any software updates. Hopefully, they will be able to do it within the next few days.
I will let you know if I still have issues after the updated version of Chrome is installed.... Thanks for your help!
Unfortunately, after countless attempts, we can't reproduce these issues. We've flagged your accounts by our debugging system so that if any error gets generated, we will be able to see what part of our system it originated in and trace the source of this issue. Please try to continue using our service so we can see what errors will be generated.

One things that seems to help is if I don't use the priority (1, 2, 3, 4) feature. It seems that the tasks that disappear are ones that I have assigned a priority number.
