Hello,

On a Mac, while you're adding a task, use the small arrow icons on the right side of the task input field. Note - this works only when adding a task within a project, not using the Quick Add feature on in today, 7 days view.

On the iPhone, to add a sub-task, simply choose the indent level from the "Indent" field while adding or editing a task.
