I would like to indicate that a task should be started today and end in 5 days time
Is there any way to indicate in the due date that I need to start a task today and should be completed with the task in a prescribed amount of time? For instance, I need to edit something and would like to be finished a week from now, but want it to show up as an everyday task until the due date. Does that make sense?

Hello Dana,
Unfortunately it's not possible to set start and end dates on Todoist. You could set such task to "every day", completing it will always move the due date to the next day and once you're done with it - delete the task. You could add the finishing deadline within the task name or use a label.
