Purchasing Premium Issues
I'd like to purchase the premium update, but if I make the purchase using a PayPal account with a different email to my Todoist accounts, will it update the right account? Or will it try to update some non-existing email address?
I know I can also pay without a PayPal account, but from memory at least, I don't think PayPal lets you pay with cards that are registered to existing PayPal accounts?

The current promotion is treated as a one-time payment and if you use the "I don't have a PayPal account" option, you should be able to process the credit card payment directly right away.
However, there are no issues with having your PayPal account linked to a different email address than the one you use with Todoist. When you click on the "Upgrade now" button while being logged into your Todoist account, the upgrade will be applied to the Todoist account you're currently logged into.

Hi, i faced the same issue. Payment made with a different paypal email. Still my gmail account is not being upgraded. How long does it take effect?
The choice of the email address you use with PayPal doesn't affect the Premium subscription, but the email address you use to log into Todoist while you pay does. The changes should take effect immediately.
Please make sure that you're using only one Todoist account. In case you've used the "Log in through Google Account" option, a new Todoist account might have been created so please try to log in manually to the previous account if that's the case.
If you haven't used the Google login and you're certain that you've never set up a Todoist account with a different email address, please send:
- the email address you've used with PayPal to subscribe
- the unique transaction ID of the payment
Unfortunately, there is a technical issue on PayPal's side. We're investigating it with PayPal support and we hope it will be resolved very soon. For now, you've been given 1 month of Todoist Premium and we will extend it to the full time you've paid for as soon as this issue is solved. Sorry for the inconvenience.
