Hello,
Please clarify - are you seeing the child tasks twice within the project? If' you're referring to the today.7 days view then please note that sub-tasks are displayed on their own in this list, but if their parent task also meets the search criteria (is also due today, for example), it will have a small arrow on its left side allowing you to view what sub-tasks it contains for reference.
This way you don't have to expand any sub-task list, see sub-tasks that don't meet the search criteria and at the same time - you won't miss a sub-task on your today list.
Best regards,
David
hello
at first , it shows in project list normally. i can see a small arrow on its left side.
but when i'm in the "today" or "7 days" list the sub-task will be shown twice. when i enter the list , the main task and sub-task will all be shown in the list. when i click the arrow which is on the left side of the main task, the sub-task of the main task will be shown again. and then , i click the arrow again , all sub-task will be hidden.
so i think it's not normal.
how can i show you some pictures ? it can make my description clearly.
thanks.

You could send a screenshot to david@todoist.com but I believe we know what issue you're experiencing.
The fact that you can open the main task to see its sub-tasks as a reference (even though the sub-tasks are also shown separately if they're due on the same date) is intended so you won't miss a sub-task and still have an overview of what a parent task contains.
However, after collapsing the list, the sub-tasks shown separately should not disappear. This is an issue we're working on right now and it's most likely linked to adding sub-tasks through the mobile apps.
Best regards,
David
