View All/Default View
I prefer to see all projects at once. I can do that with the "View All Projects" option, but every time I add a new task to a project, it defaults to showing only that project, requiring me to select "View All Projects" yet again.
Any way to make that the default view? Alternately, if that doesn't seem worth implementing, how about saved searches you could access with a single click (as opposed the three clicks it takes now)? That seems like a premium worthy feature I'd pay for.
Thanks.

Hello Grover.
Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it and we'll consider implementing such changes in the future. You're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/151/
For now, you could set the default view in Todoist's Settings -> General (choose "Custom query" in the "Start page" section), but if you add a task to a project using the Quick Add feature, it will still redirect you to the list of tasks of the target project or, if the task has a due date - a list of tasks scheduled for that date as a reference.
Best regards,
David

Thanks for the help. FWIW, this was the very first time I've found the Settings page, because every time you click the little gear and settings in the desktop app, it would take me to this page instead.

I honestly didn't think there were any settings.
Thanks again for the reply.

Grover,
Please tell me - were you logged into Todoist through the web before you've used the Settings option in the Windows app?
Best regards,
David

I can't say with any real certainty, but probably not since I don't really use the website. I can say that now that I am logged in, when I choose Settings from the app it just takes me to the web view of my lists. So I still have to click on the gear a second time (now in the browser) and choose settings again to view my settings.
And just to be clear, I'm using the Mac app.

I too would like to see an option to have the default view be All Projects. (I am using the Firefox plugin in Windows at the moment). My workaround was to turn all my separate projects into tasks under one project, so that there is only one project. NOT ideal. Way too many clicks to get to the overall list of projects/tasks and super annoying to have it go back to just one project or task whenever you add something new.

Hello Stephanie,
If you want to see all projects as your default view, please go to Todoist's Settings -> General Settings and in the "Start page" section, choose "custom query" from the drop-down menu and type "va" (or "viewall").
Best regards,
David
