Outlook plugin downloads and installs but doesn't appear
OS: Windows 7
Outlook: 2007 (12.0.6557.5001) SP2 MSO (12.0.6554.5001)
I've followed the instructions to install the Outlook plugin and believe I have the min requirements. However, once the installation completes and I relaunch Outlook I can't seem to find the plugin anywhere.
Please help. This would be such a useful feature for me to be able to link tasks to emails.

please open Outlook and go to Tools -> Trust Center -> Add-ins. At the bottom of the window, choose "COM Add-ins" and click "Go".
There, you should find OutlookTodoist on the list of available add-ins. Check the box next to it and click "OK".
If, for some reason, the plugin would disappear next time you load Outlook, please try disabling User Account Control (set it to "never notify") in the Control Panel.

Thanks for the detailed instructions. I followed them to the letter and still no luck.
'OutlookTodoist' is now listed under 'Inactive Application Add-ins' within 'Trust Center' and I don't see a away to make it active.
Am I missing something?
When you're in the Trust Center -> Add-ins section (where you see OutlookTodoist listed as an inactive add-in), please look at the bottom of this window (under the list) and you'll fins a drop-down menu and a "Go" button. Pick "COM Add-ins" from the drop-down menu, and click "Go".
A new small window will appear and that's where you can use the checkbox next to OutlookTodoist.

Thanks so much for patience. I'm sure I did exactly as you described this morning with no effect. I tried exactly the same thing again and now it's working as expected. Must be the coffee. :)
BTW I really love the product. I've been reading 'Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity' by David Allen. I've been applying his project / task management guidelines using Todoist and it's made a significant impact to my day. Reactivity and stress levels are down while productivity is on the climb.
I'd also like to take the opportunity to put my vote in for an Android app. While the web app is good for viewing tasks it's not great for editing.

Please remove your current Outlook add-in by accessing the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and deleting "OutlookTodoist", download the new application from:
and install it.
If you still experience any issues with the new version, please let us know.
