Windows App Wont Start

I've installed the Windows app twice, rebooted in between and get the same error.

Error -118 when loading url http://win.todoist.com/main?mini=1&native_app=win

Any ideas?

I'm working behind an auth proxy, could that be the problem???

Hello Matt,

This could indeed be the issue as our app requires having a connection to the internet and for some reason the proxy may stand in the way. If you have such option, please try to set a rule for the Todoist app and allow it to connect either directly or open the ports 80, 8080 and 443 for it.

Yes it is the proxy that is the problem, the app worked fine at home.

If it hasn't been considered, may I suggest that the desktop app have the ability to be configured to work behind an authenticating proxy.

Yes, we will of course look into it and make the app fully compatible with connections behind an auth proxy.
