I installed ToDoist for Windows, and get the following error when I try to launch the application: Error -102 when loading url http://win.todoist.com/main?mini=1&native_app=win

Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this issue. Please tell me:
- Are you connected to the internet when using our app?
- What version of Windows are you using?
- What version of the Todoist app are you using (the number can be found in Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel)?

I am connected to the internet; however I am behind a proxy server. I can't see any way within the tool to set the proxy settings. I did add a rule within my Firewall to allow access to the tool.
I am using version 1.9 of ToDoist (I just installed it yesterday.)
I am running Windows 7, and using either IE 8 or Firefox 17.0.1. I can get my account to work fine in the browser.
We've released a new version of our Windows app which should fix this issue. Please uninstall the old one through the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs (or "Programs & Features"), then download and install the new version from http://todoist.com/windows and let me know if the issue persists.

This did not resolve the issue. I no longer get an error, however the program stays on "loading" until I quit.

When I click on "Logout", nothing happens. I can quit, but logout does nothing. I still get the Loading screen.
Please tell me - how many tasks (approximately) do you have on your account and how long did you wait while seeing the loading animation (it could take up to 20-30 seconds if there are many tasks on your account)?
Also, could you try not to use a proxy just to make sure if this issue might be related to it?
Nanette Andrusiak on Jan 08, 2013 - 11:59
I only have two tasks. It should not take long to load at all.
I let it run the last time for about 10 minutes before I gave up.
I will try to connect tonight from home, where I don't have to go through a proxy.

Okay. Issue is definitely the proxy server. If I connect using an external line and turn off the proxy, everything works.
