I am not able to backspace or delete when editing Tasks, and I cannot add a project from this platform.

Hello Chrissy,
Thank you for your report. We are aware of these issues and we'll working on fixing them in the next update of our Outlook plugin. Sorry for the inconvenience.
For now, please note that you can't add new projects only after you've used the "Quick Add" feature.
