Cannot use todoist on mac

Todoist can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

Hello Josh,

Please try to find the settings preventing installations from unidentified developers and set an exception or manually allow the installation of our app.

A little disconcerting to install a program the OS has warned you against. Why am I getting this warning?

Josh,

We're unsure why you see this warning, but we will investigate this issue. Please note that if you download our app from our website, we assure you that it's our app developed by Todoist. The OS warns you that only the ID of the developer may not be recognized, we will check if there are any issues with our registration at Apple.

We have released an updated version of the app which should now be fully verified, signed an recognized as being from an identified developer.
