Hello,
Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue in the latest version of Chrome 23.0.1271.91 m. Neither in the web-app nor the Chrome plugin.
Please try to go to Chrome's Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data and remove Todoist.com from the list. Then reload the browser.
Best regards,
David

Hello,
I've updated chrome to 23.0.1271.91 m, cleaned up cookies and site data and reloaded the browser - it doesn't seem to help, the shortcut still doesn't work. Now I understand how useful it was)

I still can't reproduce this. Please try to disable all plugins in Chrome and see if it helps. Alternatively, use the Incognito Window (Ctrl+Shift+N) and check if the issue persists there as well.
Best regards,
David

Ctrl + Q works in Incognito Window. But still not in normal window, even with todoist cookies removed.

Fixed it! I recently installed the Chrome extension "Pocket" - I removed that and now ctrl + Q is working again. Thanks David! Thanks zubasty!
