Is there an update coming for those of us who already have the Apple App or must we download the new App separately?

Hello Steve,
If you're referring to the old HTML5 app (which was similar to the mobile site todoist.com/m ) then unfortunately, you can't update it as the new app is a completely different build and requires a new installation, but please note that all your tasks are stored in the cloud so they will be preserved (please perform a sync before deleting the old app, though).
