Complex queries

2 parts really -

Is it possible to search by project
Would it possible to combine queries, and have negative search operators

For example, I have my projects in a rough GTD setup, with a "Someday/maybe", and a "Reference" one - I'd really like to create a query like:

7 days, overdue, no date -project:"Someday/maybe" -project:"Reference"

So anything in the next 7 days or overdue, but don't show me things that aren't todo items
