Intergration with notes app/ integration with mind map app
Hi, I am heavy user of todist and I use it as todo list/link collection and much more. I have 2 questions:
1. I know that I can e-mail tasks to my list - I do that. But do you know any good note taking service that lets me drop notes to todoist? If there is none then it is ok for me to keep e-mailing.
2. I like mind maps: do you know any service that links mind maps to todoist or that makes a mind map out of todoist tasks?
With these 2 questions I would like to get even more out of Todoist.
Thank you

Hello Richard,
I'm afraid neither of these features are available at Todoist.
You can add a note to an existing tasks by mailing it - the content of the email will always become the task's note, but you can't add additional notes via email to existing tasks.
Mindmaps could theoretically be created using a combination of sub-tasks or labels. For example, if some of your ideas have a certain similar origin, you can label them and then see all tasks with this label or if they're parts of a bigger idea - you can create sub-tasks out of them.
Either way, in order to make it easier to access Todoist, you could use our browser plugins - Todoist for Chrome, Firefox or "Todoist Anywhere" for any other browser. This way, adding a note can be done much quicker. Furthermore, our new native mobile apps (available soon) could also be a great way of quickly adding a task or a note even while being offline.
Best regards,
David

Hi David,
thanks for your detailed answer. I realize that the features that I have asked about are difficult to integrate.
Anyways, I enjoy todoist the way it alreasy is,
best regards,
Richard

Hi David - just starting with Todoist but would like to reinforce Richard's request for integration with MindMap as a future function.
Would be great to have an export function for iMindMap (great and has a free version) or any other program to print out a visual display of all projects/tasks.
I ordered the premium version of Todoist although I cannot yet absorb the free functions, yet, to support development work - thanks for a great app (outlook integration was my priority criteria for choosing Todoist over other programs).
Regards
Christian
