Hello Carole,
if you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7, please try disabling User Account Control (set it to "never notify") in the Control Panel.
If this doesn't work, please tell me which operating system are you using?
Best regards,
David

Hi David -
I am using Windows 7 operating system - my computer is part of our business inranet with Outlook working through Microsoft Exchange.
It did work but I do not like leaving my computer security at that level - so once Todoist appeared in Outlook, I set the control back to Medium. I guess this means that I have to go through this process every time I open Outlook??
Thanks
Carole

Hello Carole,
so far, this is the only known workaround for it. We are aware of this and some other issues with the Todoist Outlook add-in and we're planning to release another updated version of it once we fix these issues.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you.
Best regards,
David

Hello Carole,
we have released a new version of the "Todoist for Outlook" add-in.
Please remove your current Outlook add-in by accessing the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and deleting "OutlookTodoist", download the new application from:
http://todoist.com/outlook
and install it.
If you still experience any issues with the new version, please let us know.
Best regards,
David
